Home description

Luxury 1 bedroom apartment sleeping up to 4 with the use of a bed-settee in lounge. The apartment is fully furnished and air-conditioned with a west facing balcony, incorporating a fully fitted kitchen area with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, and washer/ dryer.

The complex is situated behind an electric gated entrance, housing communal gardens, swimming pool and tennis courts, is on the outskirts of Pyla village, which has a supermarket, bars and restaurants within walking distance. This is an uncrowded resort and is an ideal retreat for those who enjoy peace and tranquility away from the crowds. It is also close enough for those who wish to venture into the busier resort of Larnaca, which is approx 15 minutes by car, and slightly further afield Agia Napa which can be reached by car in approx 30 minutes. Although a car is not essential, it is advisable if you want to see the many beautiful sites that Cyprus has to offer. The Dhekelia Road is close by (Approx 3km), and has a vast range of restaurants and bars to suit every taste.

The Larnaca region

Cyprus: With its typical Mediterranean climate, warm and dry, there is a little rainfall between March and November. In general, the island experiences mild winters and dry hot summers which are separated by short autumn and spring seasons. Vehicles are driven on the left as in the UK, and seatbelts must be worn.

Larnaca: Larnaca being the home of the main international airport gives holiday-makers their first glimpse of Cyprus. Ideally situated in the south east of the island and close to the motorway network, it's ideal for exploring the whole island.

The town of Larnaca is just a few minutes drive from Pyla Village Resort. Larnaca offers large stretches of sandy beach that go on for miles. The two main beaches are McKenzies and Dhekelia. In addition to Pyla-front, the promenade in Larnaca and it's marina have a wide choice of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. You can find an almost never ending number of good restaurants whatever your palate or budget. Fresh fish and seafood as well as meat dishes are the specialities.

The remains of the ancient City-kingdom of Kition are also worth a visit. For nature lovers the nearby salt lake is a favourite stop-over for thousands of migrating birds including flamingos.

Every summer Larnaca hosts a festival of music. Outdoor concerts take place in the courtyard of the medieval fort. Larnaca is a town with an easy-going pace with strong links to the past.

Pyla area

This brand new luxury gated-complex of Pyla Village Resort is an ideal retreat for those who enjoy peace and tranquility away from the crowds. An uncrowded resort, but close enough for those who wish to venture into the busier resort of Larnaca (10 minutes drive) and a 2 minute walk to Pyla Village.

Further details indoors: All items in the apartment are new, and of a high standard. Bed linen is provided, as are both hand, bath and beach towels. On arrival the apartment will have been cleaned, and fresh bed linen and towels will be left for you. There is a DVD player as well as a television with satellite - there is a local DVD club, of which we are members.
Further details outdoors: The balcony is west facing, and the sun shines on it from late afternoon long into the evening, so its a perfect opportunity to continue enjoying the sun long after it has left the pool area. The balcony has a patio table with four chairs. It also has a large George Forman grill. There is a communal pool which is enclosed in a garden area, and there are sun loungers and umbrellas available free of charge. There is a tennis court, which is floodlit, should you wish to play at night. The complex is gated electronically, with security codes for both the traffic gate and man gate. The apartment block has intercom access and a doorbell. Access to the first floor is either via the lift or the staircase.
