Chalet Henriette is a traditional chalet in a superb location in a small village on the edge of a nature reserve. The chalet overlooks meadows, cliffs, forests and waterfalls. This is a great place to ski, walk, bike, raft or climb amongst beautiful and inspiring surroundings, with access to many of these activities literally from the doorstep. Alternatively you might just like to relax in our private garden or large lounge with its log burning fire!

During the winter we provide catered accommodation for skiing & boarding holidays (plus climbing, dog-sledding, snowshoeing etc). In summer and autumn we provide B&B or part-catered accommodation for walking, biking and art activity holidays.

We specialise in helping you enjoy your holiday by providing all the transport, organising of gear hire, guides, lessons etc once you are here, with great cooking and a friendly and welcoming chalet atmosphere. Chalet Henriette lies in the rural village of Salvagny, a 3 minute drive from Sixt Fer a Cheval and a 10 minute drive from Samoens (we can provide minibus shuttles plus free ski bus links in winter season).
Within these 3 areas are a wealth of activities to suit all desires.

From the chalet you can step out on the door onto the GR5 trans alpine trail or try out the local mountain biking trails.
Sixt offers the Fer a Cheval, a natural horseshoe shaped valley in a stunning mountain environment with more than 30 waterfalls and walks for all abilities.
Samoens has a swimming pool, tree top activity park, tennis courts, golf driving range, botanical gardens, cinema, boutique style shopping and a tourist train.
All 3 areas have great cafes, bars and restaurants that offer a vast range of regional specialities within their menus.

Other activities within the area include, mountain and rock climbing, via ferrata, all manner of watersports and paragliding.

In winter this is a perfect ski location with great access to the Grand Massif ski area - one of the largest linked areas in France with 265km of runs. This area has great skiing / boarding for all abilities but is still relatively undiscovered. Our nearest pistes of Sixt Fer a Cheval are 400m easy walk from the chalet. We provide minibus transport to & from the telecabines at Samoens (10 minutes) and Morillon (12 minutes) to access the rest of the Grand Massif including Flaine & Les Carroz.

We can also provide great day trips to Courmayeur, Chamonix, the Portes du Soleil, Praz de Lys.
